Piles
Piles are small tumours consisting of swollen veins in the anal region. There is burning pain, worse during stool. Even urination becomes a pain. the pain is more or less constant.
 
CAUSES
 
Pregnacy, constipation, gout, abuse of purgatives, habitual drinking are the main causes.
 
DIET
 
Avoid: Exposure to fire and the sun, fasting, holding in the urge to urine or pass stools, riding, rich spicy food, meat, fries, flour etc.
Take: Papaya, green vegetables, gourd, pumpkin, plantain, cocout, herbs, tamarind, date, raisins, mango, pineapple etc.

Hamamelis: for painless bleeding followed by weakness which is out of proportion to the loss of blood. The blood is of dark colour.
